The sun was out this afternoon, offshore wind and after a surf ( ignoring the cold water ) I tipped in a Summer Ale.
Not sure what I was expecting but the beer was refreshing, crisp and slightly fruity. A lot of other summer go-to beers such as Corona are great but if you are after a summer beer with more flavour and a clean dry finish then have a go at a Summer Ale. At @ 4.5% it's definitely a beer you can have a solid session on before reaching for a Bourbon !!
